FREE PRINTABLES - CLEANING & WORKOUT SCHEDULES

I'm trying to be more organized in the new year - something about a fresh new year just makes me want to de-clutter everything, including my mind, you know what I mean? I'm a big planner person but I also wanted to come up with more consistent weekly schedules of things that need done every week.

Before this, I was cleaning the house a little each day but I didn't really have a plan or a consistent way to do it so I'm sure there were some things that I was forgetting. And likewise with working out - I was working out almost every day but it was kind of random and I didn't feel like it was having much of an impact. So to help with these two areas, I made print outs of my weekly workout and cleaning schedules.

I posted a picture on Instagram and a lot of people were interested in downloading these and printing them out themselves, so here you go! You can either download my exact schedules, or I also have included blank ones if you would rather fill in your own tasks.

The way that I laid out this schedule is great for procrastinators (like me) because it's just a little bit (usually one room) each day. Even though some days look like they are a lot of work, each day is only about a half an hour of cleaning which doesn't seem like so much and keeps me from putting it off, whereas cleaning the entire house on the weekends or whenever just seems so overwhelming and I won't want to do it at all. I also like it because it keeps the house pretty clean all week long. If someone comes over on any day of the week, I know that the house is fairly clean as opposed to doing all of the cleaning on the weekend and then if someone comes over on a Friday, the place is a mess because I haven't cleaned in a week - know what I mean?

My thinking behind the workout schedule is that, in the past, I have worked out super hard for a few weeks and then done nothing for a week - I've just been too extreme with it. This schedule will keep me from getting burned out I think because every other day is a short workout (30 mins) and I also threw a fitness class in the middle of the week for something different. I left the schedule pretty vague and open so that I don't have to do the same thing every day (ex: I wrote "cardio" instead of "running" or specifying which type of cardio so that I can do whatever I'm feeling like that day).

Anyway, with that in mind, I designed this invitation for a girl's night Valentine's party over on the Charm & Gumption blog.

FREE PRINTABLE HOLIDAY TREAT BAGS

I always like to include a little add-on with my Christmas presents. Last year, I did the classic mason jar cookie mix add-on, but this year I think I want to make something that you can eat now. So, I decided to make cookies and put them in little bags. First, I made this design on my computer. You can download your own using the link at the bottom of the post.

I purchased my kraft bags here, and you can download the design to make your own treat bags here.

Then, just print the design right onto the bag, fill the bags with treats, and decorate!

Note: Make sure to slide your printer bar over to the 5 x 7 spot (see second picture above) and choose 5 x 7 in the print settings box before you print. You may have to print one at a time to avoid a paper jam.

FREE IPHONE BACKGROUND DOWNLOADS

Sometimes it's the little things that make me happy throughout the day, like a pretty wallpaper on my computer or background on my iPhone. I figured I wasn't the only person who felt this way, so here are 5 free iPhone backgrounds you can download to show your phone some love! I hope this makes your Monday just a little more happy. :)

These are all images from stationery I sell in my shop. You can choose from a watercolor Ikat design, chevron, a watercolor anchor, an old school phone, or a southwestern pattern.

Probably the easiest way to do this is to
1. Download the file you like.
2. Email it to yourself.
3. Open the email on your iPhone.
4. Set it as a background or wallpaper.

I TOTES LOVE FREE DOWNLOADS

Do you have any grocery totes? We have a few, but it's always hard to find a cute one so I decided to make a simple one in my handwriting, and you can make the same one with this tutorial!

I also went ahead and made a bridesmaid tote & download since it is wedding season, and I'm sure a lot of brides would like to get their girls something cute that's not too expensive. You can make them this tote and fill it with goodies for a homemade gift! You could even print them on different colored totes to match your wedding colors - the file is just text, no background.

Read on to find out how to make these totes...

SUPPLIES:

You will need a tote (any color of tote will work - the file is just text with no background), an iron, and some iron-on transfer sheets. I got all of my supplies at Michael's, but I'm sure you can find them at most craft stores or even Walmart.

If you want these exact totes, you will also need the files (see the bottom of this post)! I made a letter sized file for each one so all you have to do is download it and print on the transfer paper. The bridesmaid file contains 3 per 8.5 x 11 sheet so you can print multiples easier.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Print the file and cut it out. The closer you get to the letters, the better it will look!

2. Place the text however you would like it on the tote.

3. Press the iron straight down onto the paper (don't slide it from side to side like you normally would).

4. Hold the iron on each part of the paper for 20 seconds each (note: Make sure you read the instructions that come with your transfer paper. This is the instruction that mine gave for transferring to fabric.)

5. Let it cool for a few minutes, then carefully peel the design off.

6. Display it proudly at the grocery store or...

fill it with treats for your bridesmaids!

FREE PRINTABLE: WEEKLY TO-DO LIST

As part of my organizing project, and due to the fact that my schedule is getting busier, I decided I needed to create a list of things that consistently need done on a weekly basis. It's easier to have all of the "every week" stuff on a separate sheet than to write the same tasks in my planner every single week.

Here's my Weekly To-Do List:

I printed a letter-sized sheet to hang on the fridge, and a 4x6 to tape inside my planner.

I went ahead and made a few different color schemes - print one out for yourself, if you want!
(click the image to enlarge it, then save it and print it out)
